LITERALLY the cheapest meal you could ever find! Found this gem on Ubereats and ordered saltena because craving hits! This place DID NOT dissappoint. The saltenas was about $3.25 each and two of them had me full all day! I ordered a whole box for the office to share because of the price! Everyone loved it! The saltenas were still crispy and hot by the time it get to me. The inside were filled with fillings (potatoes, meat, olive, and egg). I would 10/10 order from here again whenever I crave saltenas.

The food in this restaurant is delicious! The service is pretty good. We could be regular customers but the store is too dark. It's not a matter of lights ,is the color of the ceiling that is black. If they would paint it a light color it would make a huge difference. Many times we do not choose it for family reunions because of the darkness. I know by experience that the color of a ceiling makes a difference.

Food and service were excellent. There is no reception in the restaurant so you'll have to ask the waitress for the wifi password. That's not a critique but more of an observation.

Someone recommended this place a couple of years ago. Definitely the best Salteñas in the area. I really enjoy buying their cuñape and dipping it in hot chocolate at home. The service is always good. My only complaint is how busy they usually are but I can't blame people recognizing good food.

I really like this restaurant. My boyfriend and I visited twice while in Virginia and most of it was delicious. Of course we had to try the saltenas de pollo. Yummy, spicy, sweet and juicy at the same time. My bf also had a falso conejo the size was generous and he really enjoyed it. We are Bolivian-American, so it's not "new" to us- so you know when it's good. I also had chufly to drink, and that was well done: Singani with Ginger ale. I also ordered an Huminta, but it was too dry and not enough cheese. I didn't love it - but it was ok. Lastly, my bf had sopa de mani. It's his favorite soup, but he said that this one was alright. Not the best. Overall, we will be back next time we are in Virginia. It is a nice place, big restaurant and makes Bolivians feel at home.

Haven't had much Bolivian food but decided to try Luzmary's Bolivian restaurant, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the corn tamales. Delicious 10 out of 10. We also ordered the beef saltena. SO GOOD! definitely try to saltenas when you come here. Additionally, we ordered steak over rice, and it was cooked perfectly. Definitely give this spot a try!

Falls Church, VA - Had a craving for saltenas after a workout and knew my handsome husband would appreciate the treat so stopped by this little restaurant across from Victory Comics on a Friday morning. The restaurant featured a nice size parking lot. It was quiet inside due to the early hour - about 1100 - I can imagine it gets busy later. Service for takeout was super quick and friendly. In less than 5 minutes I was back in my car with the heavenly scent of the fresh saltenas filling the air. Upon entering our home and opening the well packed box...We found the dough to be fresh and just a bit crisp. Fillings were robust. Both featured big pieces of egg and even a tangy olive. The beef had nice tender chunks of beef. We found the sauce to be just a little sweet. Would definitely return when in the area.

I visited this place in early October when I was visiting my partner's family in NoVA. They are Bolivian and another important goal was for me to try Bolivian food for the first time. Of course, it's great when people familiar with the cuisine already validate the authenticity of the cuisine offered, which Luzmary already had from my partner's family. The restaurant itself has plenty of room inside. There is a separate side for those who chose to only order takeout, which make things more convenient. We order a few dishes for takeout but also ordered Salteñas to enjoy while we waited for them to whip up the food. They were very accommodating even though we were using both spaces. The Salteñas were delicious. I had the beef one and tried the chicken. I also enjoyed the sauce that went with it. At home, we had the Silpancho, Lapping, Pique Macho and Charque. My favorites were the Pique Macho with its combo of meat, hot for, fries and sauce and the Lapping, the flavor of the steak was exquisite. The Silpancho with its thin breaded steak was good, too. The Charque wasn't my personal favorite due to my tastes since dried shredded beef isn't my favorite but I will say that if it's your thing, I think that others will like it. Overall, my first full foray into a Bolivian traditional meal was a complete success. This restaurant has the seal of approval of Bolivians and myself, a non-Bolivian, I enjoyed everything that I was able to try!
